the offices of Valley-Leavitt
Insurance. The three are licensed
insurance brokers, each with their own
specialty, and they can not only save
you time when it comes to finding the
right policy, they very well might be
able to save you some money.

You’ve seen the commercials, probably dozens of times, the one where a certain auto insurance company says they will compare their rates with other companies so you can be sure you are getting the best rate.

That’s all well and good, and it’s a fine practice for auto insurance companies.

But when was the last time you were able to get an insurance company that is providing you with your business liability insurance to compare their rates?

Or how about a workmen’s comp carrier, or an HOA insurance provider, have they ever knocked on your door and said “It’s time to review your policy, we think we can save you money.”

Think about it, when was the last time you walked into your health insurance company’s office, to inquire about comparing rates?

The answer is probably never, partly because your health insurance company’s headquarters are in another state, hundreds of miles away.

Even if you were to actually walk in those offices and ask them to compare their rates with those of their competitors, they would only laugh at you, and you would leave that office with a whole new ailment.

That of lowered self esteem.

This is where the good people at Valley-Leavitt Insurance come in.

Think of them as your own personal shopper for all things related to insurance or bonds.

They do all the legwork for you, whether it’s home, health, life or any of the myriad insurance products you may be in need of, the Valley-Leavitt team has a proven track record in seeking out the best products for their customers.

Mike Waite started the company when he wrote his first policy out of the garage of his Bunkerville home.

That was 25 years ago.

Since then he has grown the business to the point where he has more than a half dozen trained and licensed staff members and agents, a comfortable office on Mesquite Boulevard across from city hall, as well as an office in Overton.

One of the agents here in the Mesquite office is Sharon Millham, who is a health insurance specialist.

When asked if there are any bargains to be found in the health insurance realm, she chuckled and said, “The word bargain really doesn’t exist in the health insurance industry anymore, but I would say that people absolutely should get a rate checkup about every year on renewal. Just to see what’s out there and what other carriers are offering.”

This is the intrinsic part of what Valley-Leavitt does; they compare rates for you.

And it doesn’t cost you one red cent.

You could spend hours and hours doing the research yourself, and still probably not find a better rate then the one the professionals at Valley-Leavitt could find for you.

Commercial insurance specialist Craig Haderlie explains that “Insurance brokers such as us are paid on commission by the insurance company. Our service costs you nothing.”

Millham enthusiastically agreed, saying, “We don’t have an hourly rate for our customers or anything like that. If I sit down with a client for two hours and assess their needs, then that is that, there is no charge to that person. It’s all part of our service.”

The folks at Valley-Leavitt know that if you come in for health insurance, someday down the road you may need help with life or home insurance and they want you as a customer, for life.

Patti Valis is another of their commercial specialists and she would like you to know that “We also offer bond services. That’s something that most insurance brokers don’t offer, but we can help people get the bonds they need be it for a small amount, say $5,000 or whatever. And we have recently implemented a new plan designed just for the landscaping companies. I urge anyone in that field who might be in need to give us a call and see what we have for you.”

So when you’ve reached the end of your rope on that computer, and you just can’t bear the thought of another minute comparing rates for yourself, stop into the offices of Valley-Leavitt.

They will be happy to do the research for you, and it won’t cost you a dime, now or later.

Don’t worry though, they still get paid, just not by you.

You can reach Valley-Leavitt at 346-5779 or just stop in and see them from 9-5 Monday through Friday at 21 East Mesquite Blvd.
