Mesa View Regional Hospital’s new CEO, Kapua Conley, is placing a high priority on bringing new physicians to Mesquite.
“We have been unfortunate to lose some great physicians recently and need to fill those gaps immediately,” Conley said.
In addition, the newly formed Hospital Development Team is analyzing the need for additional specialists in the community.
On Tuesday, July 27, Brandon A. Pettit, M.D. will be visiting Mesquite to learn about opportunities in Family Medicine here.
Pettit is currently in the residency program at University of Nevada, Reno.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkley and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica.
“We welcome him to Mesquite and hope that he will see the beauty of the Mesquite community and plan to practice medicine here,” said hospital spokesman Mark Buchanan. |
