I just received a thank you note from one of the units that got one of our care packages and I wanted to share it with you.

We wanted to take some time out to thank you for your wonderful contribution to the soldiers here at 25th Infantry Division, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 209th Aviation Support Battalion; based out of Camp Speicher, Iraq. We are so grateful to have such care and support out there! Some of our soldiers don't receive any mail at all, let alone care products. We truly appreciate all that you and your organization have done for us.
Let me tell you a little bit about our Crew. We are the S3 Shop of the 209th Battalion Headquarters, in a nutshell, we are responsibile for all operations of the Aviation Support Battalion. We are a crew of 13 people and range in rank of Private to Major. We range in age from 20 to 35 years old; three females and ten males. Our jobs range from Medic to helicopter repair; but in this shop, we are all considered to be in a staff job for our deployment, running the mission so to speak (working outside of our trades).
Just wanted to let you know a little bit about us; if you are interested in being a pen pal, we are good at that! If not, we just wanted you to know how grateful we are for your kind heart.
