Biasi Receives Arizona School Board Award

The Littlefield Unified School District #9 has announced that Christa Biasi, the board president for the district, is the recipient of the Masters of Boardsmanship Award presented by the Arizona School Boards Association.
The Masters of Boardsmanship is a prestigious award presented through the Arizona School Board Association’s “Academy of Board Member Development” program that is designed to equip board members with the knowledge and techniques necessary to develop policies and practices to support the organization's instructional leadership role. [Read full story]

New Scoreboard To Be Unveiled At Diamondbacks Home Opener

Littlefield Unified School District #9 would like to invite parents, grandparents, and the community to attend Back to School Night on Thursday, Sept. 2, and to the first Beaver Dam High School home football game on Friday, Sept. 3.
This year the school district will be providing dinner for Back to School night.
The district is hoping to make the community feel welcome to come to the different learning centers and would also like community participation with the schools.

Clay Branham has been missing since July 17 after leaving Kanab, UT and passing through Fredonia, AZ.

after leaving Kanab, UT and passing through
Fredonia, AZ.

The search continues for a man who police believe disappeared between Fredonia, AZ and Kanab, UT.
Clay Branham was last seen at the Aikens Lodge in Kanab when checking out on July 17.
The last known transaction on his credit card was at Judd's Chevron in Fredonia.
Branham is described as a male, 5'8", 165 pounds.
He usually wears Wranglers and rounded-toe boots, as well as a ball cap or cowboy hat.
He has a tattoo on his right shoulder of a purple crescent moon with white clouds.
His vehicle is described as a black 2001 GMC extended cab shortbed pickup truck with 20" chrome wheels and a dark gray interior.
His Nevada license plate number is 398-VAW.
